The simple beginning...

It all started when…

A friend from my freshman dorm floor was having toothache.  

She complained about how her tooth felt funny when she chewed. I told her to go to a  nearby dentist. I was not prepared for the answer: "I need to go home to my own dentist." 

She was so certain about seeing HER dentist. It was evident that the trust she has in her dentist back home was very strong and special.  I was awed by such strong bond. 

What I think the best part of the dentistry is getting to know the patient. I listen first to understand the wants and needs of the patients. Working together with the patients and staff to improve oral health keeps me going everyday. I strive for building lasting relationships with my patients. The opportunity to help the patient is a privilege of mine.
